Gedicht: There once was a girl

there once was a girl
struggling to survive
she was denied all the answers
she needed from life

there once was a girl
whose beauty was erased like dying flowers
and as life went on
she stood still for hours

she nearly drowned
in a sea of questions arising
and at the bottom of the ocean she was
when she found out something surprising

new life was buried
just under the surface
fed with the tears she once cried
and she figured that she might
just as well grow new flowers
to give life a new purpose
